graphic design, writing, and some other nonesense
The portfolio project was definitely the most challenge website we worked on this semester, but it was also a fun thing to work on. I am surprised and pleased with the turn out of my website. In the beginning of the semester, I was having a very hard time designing website layouts that were simple and attractive and I feel like I accomplished that in my portfolio site. I’m very excited that I got the clickable image idea to actually work, but coding it was definitely a challenge.
I had a hard time coding the small clickable image that follows the visitor around the site (which was obviously going to be difficult since I don’t know JavaScript at all!) so it was necessary for me to get some help with that. Otherwise, I feel like I used all of the skills we learned in class throughout the semester to complete the rest of the site.
In the future I would like to spruce up the “contact” page, possibly by adding an image or a drawing, since I feel that the page is a little too plain. I feel the same way about the simplicity of the “about me” page, and I would like to do something to make that a little more visually interesting. However, overall, I am very pleased with the outcome of the site.

1. Make the entry boxes larger on my contact me page
2. Change template so that in the little image the resume button will link to the pdf (I think I can do this in class once I get back on the same computer)
3. Get the lightbox to work on the webpage (I also think I can do this once I get onto the same computer)
I can't get my template to load correctly in the site manager since I'm on a different computer and I'm not sure how to fix that issue!
